To whom it may concern:

 

I retained Ms. Tamara Alexander-Johnson to review a retail food store operation and to perform food industry research on the standard of care.  The case was a personal injury case involving a slip and fall in a grocery store.  The issue was both narrow (sweep logs) and broad (how to do an inspection).  She assisted greatly in defining the standard of care through local and state regulations as well as industry customs and practice.  I found her pleasant to work with and insightful, willing to look in new resources and to define the standard in a range.  She grasped my client’s retail operation, studied it and assist us in defining the standard of care.  It also happened that my client’s use of technology and methods of documenting their operations were beyond the current standard of care, in other words were defining and pushing the standard of care to a new level.  Again, Ms. Alexander-Johnson was instrumental in causing this case to come to conclusion.  The case was withdrawn by Plaintiff due more to convincing video of the slip and fall incident within the store and her detailed report. Therefore Ms. Alexander-Johnson did not testify in the case.
